Job Description:

Right at Home Kearney is urgently hiring compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to join our team in Gothenburg, Nebraska. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping seniors and adults with disabilities maintain their independence and quality of life by providing exceptional care in the comfort of their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Prepare and serve meals according to the client’s dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
• Assist with medication reminders and ensure compliance with prescribed schedules.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required; we provide training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
