Job Description: As an In-Home Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, offering support that enhances their quality of life and helps them maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing
- Run errands and provide transportation to appointments
- Assist with medication reminders and administration
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the office
- Maintain detailed records of care provided
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required; training is provided
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
