Job Description

Valley County Health System Home Health Department is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team. This position is scheduled 40 hours each week on the day shift serving the St. Paul and Broken Bow areas. There are no weekends and no holidays! A company car is included!

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing care in the patient’s place of residence, completing assigned homemaking duties, and completing all necessary documentation in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS: • Current CNA licensure for the state of Nebraska • Must meet state law educational requirements • Must be free of any criminal record such as any type of abuse • Previous nursing home and/or home health experience preferred but not required • Demonstrated safe and appropriate care within the standards of practice • Independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills • Clean driving record.
