CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT

Grand Island, NE 68801
Responsibilities:
- Directly respond, within scope, to the needs and concerns of residents and family members
- Ensure residents’ right to privacy (visual and auditory)
- Provide resident care as directed by care plan and/or nursing staff
- Lift patients into beds, wheelchairs, etc. as needed
- Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient’s chart
- Administer medications using the 5 rights
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Help residents with personal hygiene
- Obtain and record vital signs and weight
- Willingness to help others
Requirements:
- Completion of a Nebraska-approved CNA Certification course (Certified Nursing Assistant)
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and fellow team members
- Ability to provide good customer service
- Basic computer skills
