Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
• Provide daily care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Administer medications and treatments under the direction of licensed nursing staff (for CMAs).
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided.
• Monitor residents’ well-being and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members.
• Communicate compassionately with residents and their families.

Qualifications:
• (For CMA’s) Successful completion of a State 40-hour Certified Medication Aide – CMA, course as approved by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services required.
• (For CMA’s and CNA’s) Successful completion of a State 75-hour Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA, course as approved by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services required.
• Must remain in good standing with the Nursing Assistant registry.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
