Shift: Overnight (10:00pm – 6:00am)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our overnight team. The CNA will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the night. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to resident safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of our skilled caregiving team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal assistance
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional conditions to the nursing staff
  • Provide comfort and companionship to residents, responding promptly to call lights and resident requests
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure resident safety and comfort during overnight hours
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, including making beds and tidying resident rooms
  • Assist in repositioning residents to prevent bedsores and help with exercises or mobility aids as directed
  • Accurately document care provided and report any incidents or issues to the charge nurse
  • Support fellow team members in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care

Qualifications:

  • Current CNA certification in the state of Nebraska
  • Ability to work the overnight shift, including weekends and holidays as required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent resident care
  • Ability to lift and move residents as needed and to perform physical tasks required by the role
